新北市汐止客屬協會30日成立國民黨總統參選人洪秀柱後援會，洪秀柱表示，希望透過語言、文化、藝術、音樂等，傳承客家精神；而繼提出政治5大改革方案後，民進黨總統參選人蔡英文30日再提5大社會安定計畫，包括安心住宅、食品安全、社區照顧、年金永續及治安維護。
昨天是周末，兩名女將都勤跑行程。洪秀柱除出席新北市客家後援會成立大會，還參訪都市更新案、總統參選人與立委提名同志聯合造勢、新同盟會抗戰勝利70周年勝利紀念大會。
對於總統候選人的電視辯論，洪秀柱強調相當期待，事情越辯越明，能讓人民做最正確的選擇，「辯論是任何一個候選人需要直接面對的」。她同時再轟蔡英文的兩岸政策，指其永遠講不清楚，就靠「維持現狀」4個字唬弄大家，「到底妳大小姐要維持什麼樣的現狀？」針對「抽梁換柱」說，她則保證，明年選票上面絕對有洪秀柱3個字。
蔡英文出席桃園市後援會成立大會時，提出穩健改革的5大社會方案：包括8年內將興建20萬戶社會住宅的「安心住宅計畫」；從農場到餐桌嚴格把關的「食品安全計畫」；托育、長照、就業三合一照顧政策的「社區照顧計畫」；人人領得到退休金的「年金永續計畫」以及「治安維護計畫」。
有關總統大選辯論，蔡英文表示，「總統大選辯論本來就是一個必要的過程，我們也有做準備」，但希望在候選人完成登記後再進行。有媒體追問是因為民調很高，不需要和對手辯論嗎？她說，「倒不是這樣，是時間還沒有到」。
